Yesterday, June 16, a jury found our client not guilty of the sexual imposition charges against him. The defendant, an ex-Metroparks employee, was accused of grabbing the buttocks of a market vendor and saying “I’m undressing you with my eyes.”
Sexual imposition is a third-degree misdemeanor in Ohio. When the charges came out, Five Rivers MetroParks (FRMP) fired the defendant, but the market vendor also implicated FRMP in the incident, saying that they should have done more.

An FRMP investigation did reveal a discrepancy in the vendor’s testimony. Initially, he stated that the defendant patted him on the back. Days later, he changed this to “patted me on the buttocks.” FRMP has filed numerous motions to have the civil suit relating to these charges dismissed.
