Ohio residents who receive jury duty summons will now be briefed on their role in the justice process with the help of a new video. The Ohio Judicial Conference, the Ohio Supreme Court, Ohio Bar Association, and the Ohio Channel worked together to develop this jury service video.
Potential jurors can watch the video to learn more about Ohio’s court system, why it needs jurors, and what jurors can anticipate if they are called to serve in this capacity.
According to Chief Justice Maureen O’Connor, who introduces the video, “”We are privileged to live in a country where our state and federal constitutions guarantee the right to a trial by a jury of our peers.”
