The
Franklin County Common Pleas Court recently announced their nominations for 2015 presiding
and administrative judges. Among them was Judge Charles Schneider who
will be taking over Judge Guy Reece’s seat. He will act as the presiding
General Division judge in matters of domestic relations, juvenile cases,
and probate.
“I have known Judge Schneider for 25 years. There is no finer judge
who exemplifies the necessary qualities of a judge than him,” said
Attorney Brad Koffel. “A great judge makes jury trials run smoothly. He has quite a knack
for that, too.”
Schneider also commented, “”It’s always a great honor and
privilege whenever your colleagues recommend you for a position, so I
was very honored by the nomination and selection.”
Prior to being nominated for this seat, Schneider served as a municipal
court judge where the roles of presiding and administrative judges are
rolled into one. Schneider also acted as an administrative judge for the
common pleas court for three years.
