Permitting Hazing

§ 2903.31 of the Ohio Revised Codes states "No administrator, employee, or faculty member of any primary, secondary, or post-secondary school or of any other educational institution, public or private, shall recklessly permit the hazing of any person." Permitting hazing is just as serious an offense as committing the hazing, and can be charged as a fourth degree misdemeanor.

Colleges, Universities, & Title IX Violations

In 2014, the Department of Education released a list of 55 colleges and universities that it was investigating for Title IX violations. Ohio State University was one of those institutions. View a complete list of the 55 institutions accused of Title IX violations. These violations all center on alleged poor handling of sexual violence and harassment complaints.
