When are cases heard?
The Grove City Mayor's Court hears cases every Wednesday. The order
of cases heard is dictated by the type of offense. The schedule is as follows:
- 9:00 am – Failure to comply cases
- 10:00 am – Criminal and traffic cases
- 11:00 am – Any case that requires the use of an interpreter
- 1:00 pm – Pre-trial cases
- 2:30 pm – DUI/OVI and related cases
- 3:20 pm – Trials
Any case handled in Grove City Mayor's Court has the potential to be moved to
Franklin County Municipal Court. Also, anyone who loses in Mayor's Court can file
an appeal to have their case reconsidered by the municipal court.
