Preparing for Your Case at Licking County Municipal Court
Going to court can be an intimidating experience, but understanding the process you will face can significantly help alleviate that burden.
First, you can familiarize yourself with the court personnel. The current judges for the Licking County Municipal Court – Judge Michael F. Higgins and Judge David N. Stansbury. Judge Higgins has served in this position since 1991 and is a long-time resident of Licking County. Judge Stansbury is the newest judge for the county, being appointed in June 2010. He is also the former Vice-President on the Board for the Licking County Alcoholism Prevention Program.
