For the Defense: Skyler Richardson and the 5th Amendment

On the latest episode of For the Defense, Attorneys Brad Koffel and Charlie
Rittgers discuss Skyler Richardson, an Ohio cheerleader who was accused
of killing and burying her own baby. Ms. Richardson was coaxed into a
false confession by the Reid technique and could have been saved by utilizing
her right to remain silent.

Rittgers explains the case and trial, and Koffel asserts the importance of the 5^th Amendment. Using the case as an example, Koffel reminds viewers to “always
let an attorney talk for you, even if you have nothing to hide.”
