How Attorneys Become Super Lawyers®
In order to become a Super Lawyers® member, an attorney must be evaluated
by the organization through a rigorous, multipoint process. Peer reviews,
client testimonials, case results, pro bono work, and more are all used
to weigh the success of each nominee. An outstanding few are reviewed
further by a Blue Ribbon Panel before final selections are made. Only
a 5% maximum of all practicing attorneys can be selected to Super Lawyers®
each year.
The same procedure is used to determine yearly Rising Stars℠ member, only
there is an additional caveat: Each nominee cannot be over the age of
40, or they must not have more than 10 years of practice experience. Due
to the additional restriction, a slim 2.5% maximum of practicing lawyers
can become a Rising Stars℠ member in any given year.
